Theo Newborn | Family Photographer Eugene Oregon

In all honesty this newborn photography thing has taken a really long time for me to figure out what I want to do and how I want to shoot newborn images for clients. That’s not normal for me though, usually I’m pretty thought out when it comes to direction and how to do things, especially in my photography. After quite a few talks with Rachel she encouraged me to start doing what I do with every other session when it comes to newborn photos. I tried it, and loved it. Since then, I’ve been shooting a mix of sort of documentary lifestyle images and setup family/newborn shots. I’ve been so happy with the results!

For Theo’s session it was much of the same. A good mix of his family interacting with him alongside some setup shots of him going solo. We had great light and a perfect day, in April in Oregon no less. Everything here is shot with existing light, nothing artificial, even for the indoor shots. Enjoy!
