Sparks Lake Engagement | Krista & Kyle | Bend Oregon

An old friend recently sent me an email asking if I would be interested in shooting engagement photos for her, of course I said yes! Only thing, she lives in Boise, ID now and I’m in Eugene, OR. We planned to meet the middle (sort of) in her old hometown (ish) of Bend, OR. Well, we didn’t actually meet in Bend, we met at Sparks Lake. This was my first trip to the Sparks Lake area and I must say it’s an incredible place, completely unrivaled! I went a day early and camped overnight, that was epic. Then we started photos at the crack of dawn before the crowds arrived. We shot for a few hours all over the area, had a ton of fun, included the dog for a few shots, froze our butts off, and then got creative with some off-camera lighting in the natural area next to Sparks.
