I can’t say enough about this guy! Shel is awesome. I was hired recently to shoot some photos of Shel and we chose to do most of them on campus at the University of Oregon.

Shel is a magazine editor for a popular publication in China, and he does his job remotely via the web. Craziness! That frees him up to live anywhere in the world as long as he has internet connection. Right now, he is studying journalism at the U of O. His English is on par with mine, and I’m from the U.S., his personality is really easy going, he’s friendly and easy to talk to, and the list goes on.

We shot photos for a bit over two hours, starting pretty early in the morning. Many of these images are lit with an off-camera flash and natural light. Enjoy!
