Portland Oregon Wedding | Coopers Hall | Katie & Brock

First of all, a huge thank you to Coopers Hall for hosting this amazing wedding, Swoon Floral Design for the amazing flowers, and Hotel Monaco for letting us shoot some portraits at this amazing hotel and wedding venue! You all rock.

Katie and Brock wanted to have a super fun-filled day that was going to be memorable for friends and family. They wanted no stress, lots of laughs, time to hang out with friends, and good food and drinks. They got exactly that at Coopers Hall.

We met up at the Hotel Monaco for some getting ready photos in a bridal suite and then did a first look and some portraits downstairs once everyone was ready. We basically had the place to ourselves minus a few passersby here and there. We traveled from there to the East Bank Path near Omsi and shot a few more portraits of Katie and Brock. Then on to Coopers Hall for some shot with the bridal party. This group was so much fun to work with!

We took a quick break and Katie, Brock, and myself walked up to Basecamp where they went on their first date. The table they sat at was open so I shot a couple photos of them there in their wedding attire. It was pretty awesome! And, not to mention, Brock got a few cat calls from the brewery patrons. “I love your suit!” “That blue looks good on ya man!” It was beyond epic in so many ways.

The ceremony and reception were very non-traditional. Standing room ceremony on a rug next to wine barrels with friends and family surrounding the couple. Corndog toasts, incredible dancing, no cake but plenty of great treats, no throwing anything except the occasional beer glass (on accident), and plenty of time for the couple to just hang out with friends, dance, and enjoy the people that are part of their lives. It was truly an incredible evening!
