North Shore Oahu Wedding Photographer | Engagement Session @ Hukilau Beach | Amanda & Ben

First off, let me introduce myself; I’m Josh from Oregon. I may live in Eugene, OR but I don’t charge travel fees to Oahu so you might as well consider me the most reasonably priced North Shore Oahu Wedding Photographer out there!

Well, I’ve been so busy that I haven’t been able to keep this blog up. With a house remodel, way too much photography work, and some travel (including this trip to Oahu Hawaii) I’ve been swamped! But, this engagement session on the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii just had to be shared!

Amanda and Ben had me do engagement photos while we were staying on the North Shore. We picked the Hukilau Beach and went to a couple of spots closeby the town of Laie. Amanda bought a beautiful dress (Morning Lavender is the designer) and had a flower crown made to match by Ocean Dreamer (@ocean_dreamerr on Instagram). The weather was incredible windy so we just had to roll with it. We chose to have fun and keep the images very informal and emotionally charged. That’s my style anyhow so things worked out rather well for us! The light was nice and the water was amazing. We ended the night with champagne and dark clouds as the sun went down behing the pali and a rainstorm rolled in.
