I had the great privilege of shooting some photos for my friend Ben Wade and his rafting business McKenzie Rafting Company.  We did a half day trip down the beautiful McKenzie River through some of the burn area after the Holiday Farm Fire and it was still such an incredible and beautiful area to raft through.  The amazingness of the water mixed with the scenery is just incredible there.  And not far from home too.

I’m going to start sharing more work here again after a long hiatus through the covid era.  I’ve been shooting consistently with commercial photography jobs and plenty of weddings, just haven’t cared as much about posting here on the blog.  But here’s to changing things up and moving forward with it.

And seriously, go hire Ben or any of his guides for a trip down this famed river close to Springfield, OR.  We had a blast with a group of 8 but Ben’s company can accommodate more or less if needed.  Really great guiding and providing info about the area and Ben was more than willing to keep the trip fun and cater to what we wanted as a group, which happened to include us wanting to get completely soaked, and we did!

I’ve already booked another trip with McKenzie Rafting Company and this time I’m taking my in-laws, wife, and kids.  Pretty excited to show our kids such a fun activity close to home.
