Family Photos Eugene Oregon | Fern Ridge Reservoir Orchard Point | Davis Family

Recently I had the huge privilege of shooting some family photos for the Davis Family at Orchard Point on Fern Ridge Reservoir and it was a blast! Their kids were so well-behaved and it made the entire session so easy! I had a ton of fun walking around with this great family and working together to create some memories and documenting the kids at this point in their lives. The light was perfect and even though it was a bit cold that didn’t bug anyone. We had the place to ourselves and didn’t have to worry about people walking through the background very often. When you’re working with kids that can be one of the toughest things to plan for. If there are distractions or if someone walks into your frame right as the kid is cooperating and being cute, it can completely ruin a memorable shot. Since that was no worry, we were able to get everything we wanted. And I love to focus some on each kid individually, the entire family of course, and maybe siblings together. I want my family sessions to be a huge mix of everything so we just go with the flow and get as many combinations as we can.
