Quirky Mount Pisgah Wedding | Eugene Oregon Photographer | Kate & Brendan
Every once in a while you get an opportunity to photograph a wedding with details that just can’t be matched in any way. Details that are so unique and interesting that it just boggles your mind as to why and how a couple could possibly be so amazingly cool. As was the case with this one.
Kate and Brendan are both architects living in Chicago. They came to Eugene for their wedding and managed to plan every detail perfectly for their big day. Kate decided to wear a 100 year old wedding dress that was worn by her great grandmother in the early 1900’s. Of course Kate altered it a bit to make it her own, but kept with the super vintage style. Kate also wore her great grandmother’s tiara as a hairband. Not the 80’s style of hairband that played rock music with flying v guitars, but the kind you wear in your hair on a wedding day; just had to be sure that was clear. Brendan added to the super old school family history by wearing a watch fob passed down through his family from the early 1900’s as well. They had lawn games and a summer picnic hangout vibe for the reception. All in all a perfect day for a perfect couple!
