Something that I’ve always loved about this time of year is that you can go out and shoot photos all day long with great light when the weather cooperates! Having the light come in at somewhat of an angle in March (compared to directly overhead in July for example) gives a soft feel to the light all day long, even midday as was the case with this shoot.

Another thing I love about Spring is that by having a major off-season for weddings here in Oregon it allows me to get to know new people and photograph new families. This family was a ton of fun to hang out with and shoot photos of. Easiest kids ever to put in front of the camera, gosh!
