Helena & Nick | St Jude Catholic Wedding | The DAC Reception | Eugene Oregon

We always seem to get a couple of weddings around Spring Break here in Eugene Oregon but we don’t always have the best weather then. Luckily enough, for Helena & Nick’s wedding at St Jude, we had some incredible weather and were able to shoot a bunch of photos outside in the sun! What a blessing! The evening before their wedding we saw a crazy storm come through the dumped a ton of rain. By the wedding day though, everything was clear and the sun was starting to dry the ground a bit. We had great light all day long and even managed a few shots on balcony at The DAC overlooking downtown Eugene. What a great day!

Helena & Nick are a great couple and it was a huge privilege to be part of their day! I got to know them a bit during their engagement photos in Cottage Grove a while back. They are really mellow and low stress, perfect clients for me! The wedding day was full of emotion, happiness all around, great toasts, fun dancing, a conga line, an incredible classic car, and some really nice family. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. If half of our weddings this year are anything close to this one, we’re going to have a really amazing 2015!
