Oregon Coast Engagement Session | Tara & Mike

Rachel had a brilliant idea for the weekend of our Pacific City wedding; stay the weekend. Wow, what an incredible thought!?! So, we did. We rented a house, brought babysitters for our son Kellen, had a great time at the coast, and planned an engagement session for Sunday before returning home. That’s what I call a business trip!

Tara & Mike got to enjoy the benefits of an engagement session on the beach with two photographers. And, it was incredible. This is our first engagement session with two photographers and I must say, it might become a trend. We had a blast at the beach in Pacific City, found some really cool pieces of drift wood stuck into the sand upright, and brought Tara & Mike’s dog along too!

The images we captured had such variety and there were so many great shots, it’s been nearly impossible to keep this blog post smaller than our usual wedding posts. And, because of all the great material I had to work with during the editing process, I went crazy with alternate versions. Holga simulations, black & whites, sepia, cross-process, you name it; it’s probably there. And, not to brag or anything but this couple ended up with 372 images to choose from. That’s more than what many wedding photographers give their clients after the wedding. Just sayin’!
