Pleasant Hill Oregon Wedding | Katie & Chad
This blog post has been plaguing me for the longest time. We’ll start the photos off with the date just to show ya’ll how far behind I am on blog shares! August 24th, that’s literally 8 months ago. Don’t worry though, this couple got their photos within two weeks as promised. Haha, it’s just my self-promotion that’s lacking.
Who am I kidding? What am I doing? I’ve often thought about letting blog posts fall through the cracks and figuring out some incredible system on how to only share some work, but then I realize that I love sharing photos and that’s one of the main reasons I do this photography thing. And, I’m pretty sure you all enjoy seeing my work too! So, here goes the longest blog post ever. Ever.
Katie and Chad’s wedding. Hmm, what to say about such an amazing day with such amazing people?!? We got to shoot some really fun engagement photos for Katie and Chad a while back and they are really fun, genuine people. I can’t tell you the last time I’ve met people this nice. Like, really really nice. First thing is first though, this couple is having a baby quite soon, so exciting! Pre-congrats to them! I figured that I better get the wedding celebrated online before the baby comes…
This wedding was sooooooo fun! A huge bridal party (as you’ll see in photos), a tribute to a lost friend, some incredible lighting, an amazing family property, some of the best diy decor I’ve ever seen, so many cowgirl boots, beautiful trees, awesome cupcakes, three photographers (we had Daniel Hayden Berman shooting with us on this one), two videographers (Blue Bus Creatives – you can see Katie & Chad’s video here), a handmade dance floor, and so much emotion it wasn’t even funny (said aloud in the tone and style of the crazy new guy that’s always angry on Parks & Rec); well a lot of it was funny, and fun. So, grab a cup of coffee and a scone and sit back for a while, because the only way I can share this day is though bunches of photos. Here’s my best visual recap for your rods and cones.

What venue is this?! It’s so pretty!
It’s a private residence. Sorry to not help you out! I really wish they would host some weddings or at least have the option to rent it out for some of my clients, this place was great!
