Earlier this year, Swahili Imports approached me to be their start shooting their product photos. Swahili is an awesome company, and if you don’t know of them already you need to check them out and give their website a good look! Tons of companies sell the products that Swahili brings over from Africa, their client list is ridiculous. And, they also have a retail location at 5th Street in Eugene. They work hand in hand with designers in Africa to create unique products that are imported to the U.S. and then sold all over the country. Everything Swahili does is fair trade and they bless tons of people through the process. Also, a lot of what is sold is made from recycled materials. If you want to support an awesome company, I give them a high recommendation.
So, on to the photo job, huh? Swahili has hired me to shoot most of their product photos in studio on white backgrounds as well as some lifestyle images showcasing their products. I can’t say enough about how cool their stuff is and how amazing it is to get to shoot photos of these products.
