Portland Oregon Wedding Photographer | Gray Gables | Twyla & Joe

Twyla & Joe hired us to hire their epic wedding at Gray Gables in Oregon City near Portland. Daniel Berman of Northwest Pet Photography 2nd shot for me on this wedding and he did an absolutely excellent job! I love his style, especially the shallow depth of field stuff. Thanks dHb. Also, along with the two of us was Starlight Films from Salem, OR. They were great to work with on the wedding day. It can get a bit hard figuring things out with two photographers and two videographers but they made things easy.

Twyla and Joe chose a pretty sweet place to get married, Gray Gables. A victorian set of buildings right in Oregon City just south of Portland. There were plenty of great photo locations on the property and we took advantage of them all. We had fun with the bridal party and got to get a bit creative for some of the shots with them. Twyla set up a really nice schedule to allow for tons of photography time and nothing was rushed. The ceremony was great, including the officiant making faces during the rings and pumping his fist in the air during their kiss! Not very traditional, and probably not the best thing you can do while performing a marriage ceremony, but it added some character and was very unique. Haha!

The reception here was beautiful! The indoor area at Gray Gables is elegant, fancy, homey, and organized well. We had a great time shooting photos here and are really excited for the chance we get to shoot a wedding in Oregon City at Gray Gables. Thanks all!
