1916 Pierce Arrow | RM Auctions / Sothebys
I like to pride myself on being a very versatile photographer. A lot of others out there want to focus on a specialty and only put their efforts towards one thing, but that’s just not me! I like keeping my projects diverse and having many specialties. Much of what I shoot is for private clients (ie: weddings & portraits) but I also do quite a bit of commercial photography and love the break it gives me from photographing people.
I started a contract last year with RM Auctions and Sotheby’s to handle photography work of very expensive cars in Oregon. Most of these cars sell for a minimum of $300k and some of them upwards of a million bucks! This vehicle is a 1916 Pierce Arrow that I shot in Grants Pass this Summer. I scouted the location and found this old abandoned piece of concrete where a logging company used to store product. We had open views and great light for the shoot. Pretty stoked on how the images came out despite not being able to move the vehicle even with three of us pushing, it’s made out of mostly cast iron making it extremely heavy. Had to have it towed there on a flatbed and used the tow truck to reposition when needed. Enjoy the photos!
