Deschutes River Overnight Trip | Freelance Stock Photography

The last few years my good friend Jacob and I have headed over to the Deschutes River to fish the famed salmonfly hatch around Memorial Day. I love to fly fish and I love the outdoors. So, this trip is somewhat of a perfect couple of days for me. Even if we wouldn’t have caught a single fish, I still would have had an incredible time floating the river and camping in the wilderness.

Of course, the photography here is not a priority for me compared to weddings and paid client sessions, but I’ve been licensing a lot more stock photography and this trip was the perfect opportunity to add to my portfolio. Every image you see here will be available for license within the next few weeks.
